I've been wanting to try Shenanigan's for quite some time and the food and service were both incredible! I love the St. Patty's vibe, where it feels like any day can be a celebration! I recommend the Mind Melter.

The words Shenanigan's and English Pub seemed like a bit of an oxymoron to me. Still, we wanted to add it to our list of local pub/dive restaurants that we had visited (dive being a good thing.) True to form, it was located in a strip mall and we never would have found it unless it had been recommended. The food was fine but nothing English about it. Nothing Irish about it either. Our server/bus person/bartender worked her tail off and provided excellent service to us. It was an an environment in which a single diner could be very comfortable.

My first time visiting. The beers were so cool they were frosty and the bar food was on point. Price was excellent too!

We came in from out of town and found this place through Yelp and am happy it showed up. It seems that it is a locals bar which is always good. The bartender and customers had good interactions and appeared to know a lot about each other's lives. It was fun listening to some of the stories / daily life gossip! The bartender made us feel we were welcome even though we were not locals. I would go back if I am in Reno again.
